A couple weeks months , Courtney and I had amazing Brand Consultation with Miss Grayce over coffee , breakfast , and coffee . It's an unbelievable experience when open minds meet and share the same artistic wave lengths . There's no formula for this kind of chemistry , it's mystifying .
Starting the party off is this photo shoot . We wanted to give her a couple of high quality photos for her marketing and promoting purposes as well as experiment with some looks . So many concepts and exciting projects coming up very soon with this melodic story teller and this is the first many .

TWENTY-FIFTEEN
Happy five days into the new year ! Some of you are taking your first steps in achieving your new year resolutions , some of you are finishing up your holidays and going back to school/work , and some of you are finally starting to sober up ! Its a beautiful day in the neighborhood .
I love working on NYE . it's an amazing night to perform because everyone that goes out that night made a conscious decision to make this night an epic night . We've all signed a invisible contract that states that we will leave the party poopin half of ourselves home and go out only with the part of us that loves fun things , hates standing idly against the wall , and enjoys the gathering and merriment of their fellow man and woman . Its a lot like going out in Vegas without all the "what happens in Vegas" business (sometimes) .
This past NYE I enjoyed the passing of the year in Meydan, Dubai on stage with SkyBlu and the rest of the Big Bad family . The show ran great with Sky dropping his new single "We Love Girls" and some other unreleased tracks which the crowd loved . It was awesome watching Pharrell perform and to bring in the New Year doing the count down during his set . The best part of the night has to go to our DJ BMad closing the night spinning around 3 am and all of us running around on stage and shutting the place down with the committed few thousand people to make this night last as long as we can .
I lost my phone for a period of 4 hours during the old year / new year transition so I had to borrow photos from other people to show you guys my trip

I wish this was my view of Dubai's epic fireworks show . But the concert was much too far from the center of the City , so I saw it on youtube , like the rest of the world
Yes this is a snowboarding/skiing room in the Eremites Mall . Interestingly enough , this is the 2nd biggest mall in the world . First being Dubai Mall , down the street .

Would You Pick Me ?
Below are my audition photos for a nineties boy band . I'm going for the position of the serious and broody guy that has vocals on mostly the slow songs . There will usually be a lot of rain or at least wet concrete during my section of the music video . I will rarely look into the camera when singing but when I do it's because you know I've hit the pinnacle of my vulnerability . Girls that are into me will be the type that wants to change me but eventually figure out that this is just the way I am and they wont be able to save me because I'm drowning . Drowning in the ocean of impressively deep feelings weighted down with an oversensitive heart and chiseled jaw . I'm perfectly okay with seriously developing a drug and or alcohol problem later in my career .
I'm also perfectly okay with a come back career later in life when i find myself again and gain fame in the genre of Christian rap .

WESTCOAST WINTER
Winter in LA means you get to put on a sweater . It is not lost on me that while most of the world are layering up/buttoning up/wrapping up their bodies and shielding themselves against mother nature , I am walking through downtown LA in December with my sweater and hot coffee talking about how it's starting to get a little chilly . MISS WORLD 2014 : LONDON | the iPhone edition
I've literally been sitting here for 30 minutes trying to think of the right combinations of words in my brain to string together to convey to you the amazing experience i've had in London this past week . I have some phrases but no real sentences . In this spirit , here is a list of said phrases :
- It was slightly daunting to be organizing and directing Sky and 126 contestants from all over the world
- 1.6 billion watching this show . big deal
- Choreographing the opening of a show with a 63 year old tradition . big deal
- Trying to keep my shit together while 126 of the most beautiful women in the world wait for me to finish so they can get on with the rest of the day . no big deal
- The Miss World production team and choreographers are extremely talented . working the girls and cameras for a two hours show is no easy thing . Go Donna !
- I call this work but I get more enjoyment out of this than play . honestly
- Its experiences like this that lets me tell people it's what I get to do in this job that makes it worthwhile . Money can't buy this .
- Sky blu is one talented Mother ******
- The girls are all beautiful when the cameras are on and off
- London is a beautiful city when the sun is rising and there are barely any cars on the road .
- Its also beautiful in other times of the day but just a bit annoying .
- No sleep
- Crown Plaza London Docks makes great morning coffee
- I finished reading Amy Poehler's Book "Yes Please" and I hope she's right about time travel . I'm taking as many snap shots as possible

After a long and exhausting couple of days , I had about 7 hours before I head to the airport in which case I of course decided to take a car ride from a friend to see London at dawn .

YOUTUBE REWIND 2014
Last year I danced as a part of Quest Crew in Youtube rewind 2013 which was an interesting experience since I've never worked with a YOUTUBE production before . This year however it was a whole new experience because not only did I dance in it but I also took part in the choreography process for most of the dancing in the video .
The shot in a location in downtown LA which didn't look like much from the outside but it was clear that they had a bigger budget this year because the production for the scenes on the inside were way more spectacular than last year . Shout out to all the Youtubers for learning the choreography so fast . Some of them learned it the day before at rehearsal but i think most of them showed up that day and had to learn it in what probably was a couple hours tops. For the scenes that I was in we spent two long days on set from 8am to 8pm roughly . It was tiring but fun working with everyone and I loved the the final product . Here is the video below and some screen shots of the parts that have me dancing .

ALL ABOUT THAT SAC TOWN
A couple of months ago I was asked to judge an all stye battle by the man Joe Remedy who was a Sac town Bboy who also puts together an event called STYLEWARZ every year . At the same event , I was also asked to do an exhibition battle with my friend Brandon "knowbody" Great House . It was going to be a weekend event in Sacramento .
Reasons to say YES
- This will be my first experience judging a battle instead of a dance competition
- This will be my first time doing an exhibition battle
- This will be my first impression with the Sac freestyle/battle scene
Reasons to say No
- I've never judged a battle before , only dance competitions
- I've never done an exhibition battle before
- I've never had an impression of what the Sac freestyle/battle scene is like
After thinking about it for a little , I embraced the idea of opening myself to the battle scene and agreed to do all of the above . Thank goodness I did because I had an amazing time just vibin with all the dancers at the event and hanging out with Brandon , Joe and DJ Kool Raul who was also a judge at the event . The energy was so different from a dance competition , theres an edge and excitement that I've never experienced before .
Thank you Joe for having me and Brandon for sharing the stage with me . Also thank you to all the amazing dancers there sharing your talents and craft .

Another awesome part of this trip was that I was able to bring Courtney along and we did a road trip work-cation deal . We shot some photos in Old Town Sac for her blog and explored different parts of Sacramento .

Did a really quick shoot for BNGA brand in Downtown LA in the afternoon . Loved showcasing this piece with the multi-textured and multi colored canvas of downtown . If you didn't know , BNGA is the apparel brand of Choreographer and Dancer Lyle Beniga . And much like his dancing and choreography , this limited edition clinic jersey is a step above the average with it's uneven buttons , quality stitching , and clever design on the back . Baseball jerseys have been on heavy rotation in the street wear scene in 2014 getting more play than One Direction at a Sweet 16 . Be a step above the average . go cop yourself a BNGA jersey !

HALLOWEEN is special every year for many many reasons . One of them is of course . Candy . Second reason . awesome costumes . Third . chocolate candy . Fourth . Quest's Halloween Party . This year , instead of celebrating with the usual debauchery and last minute team costume shopping , we decided to embark into uncharted territory . The idea of a dance concept video is nothing new in the age of youtube but for one reason or another Quest has never done one as a crew . We spent a good chunk of a month plotting , planning , and executing our well plotted plans . And thanks to our many friends and supporters , we came out with a product we are very proud of .

CLOUDY DAYS
Had an opportunity to work with an artist that literally grew up in front of my eyes . Please let me introduce to you the talented dancer and beautiful model Renee Kester . We were actually shooting someone else while Renee was there helping out . While in between shoots , we were inspired by some balloons laying around from a party . I love spontaneous ideas met with spontaneous people willing to try things . Spontaneously .
