After I journeyed to the magical kingdom of sandstorm warnings and dehydration , walked the mile of dirt filled fenced up prison march , and crossed the river of beach blanket and towels I finally reached the Mecca of of Hippies Hipsters and vintage throwback Hip replacements

The Festival
I’ve performed at many festivals before but this is the very first time I’ve experienced being in the crowd, wandering around the grounds all day and running from stage to stage to catch artists . Theres nothing like performing in front of a festival crowd . And now I know that there’s also nothing like being in one either .

Some songs make you think of crazy concepts or choreography . Or some songs gives you crazy emotional and sentimental connection that you want to bring out with your body . AND THEN there are songs that just makes you want to get up and dance . This was one of those that choreographing to it just didn’t feel right.

My good friends @kellymasumiya , @abadimage , and Jamison invited me on a field trip to Santa Monica for their #galavantingsoul series . It’s a night of exploring , playing , and playing . I had to leave early for a rehearsal so I wasn’t able to stay for long and take as many photos . this is what I got , I already can’t wait to do it again . Thanks friends

This marks the second time in my adult life that I’ve traveled for a reason that didn’t involve any type of work . Last trip was to Hong Kong and this time to the mother land . TAIWAN ! I was there for three and half gloriously rainy days spending most my time with family . Now for something everyone loves during the holidays .

This was my second time to Chile . My last trip was a luxurious four day trip where there was a lot of rest and play and this recent adventure was exactly like that one , except it was one day and there was no rest , nor play . The only thing that was the same was that it was in the same hotel . ( Thanks #WhotelSantiago )

This past weekend , I was blessed once again to hit the road with SkyBlu and the Big Bad Crew . This trip was a 16 hr ride over to the other side of the world .
Just to give you an idea of how expansive this amount of time was … here are all the things I was able to do with all of the flying parts of this trip
1. watched 6.5 movies
2. read 4 magazines cover to cover
3. read half a book . about 200 pages
4. ate 5 meals
5. stared off into space for at least an hour combined
6. convinced the stewardess to give me another hot meal (10 minutes)
7. drew a stick figure masterpiece on my arm
8. climbed over my neighbor to use the restroom x 4
and finally …
9. slept for about 4 hours total
***note this isn’t even counting the amount of time at the airport with layovers and customs and security and slow people in all the above mentioned activities

Worth it .
Went on a super quick trip to Palm Springs to celebrate a best friend’s big birthday . Even though I’ve lived in California almost all my life and all my friends have gone out there , I’ve seemed to have skipped over on Palm Springs . It was like a sleep over at a friends house when you were young . except you know … there was a beautiful house in the middle of nowhere , a backyard , pool , jacuzzi , gourmet home cooked meals , Jami , wine , gambling , and sleep .

I was basically in a house full of amazing chefs so every meal was kind of ridiculous .

This is an amazing song and I couldn’t stop listening to it once I’ve heard it ! There was such a feeling of fun and good time vibes in this song whenever I played it and I wanted to capture it in this video and share my love of these good feelings with you .
Since moving to the area, I’ve found that West Hollywood has nothing of interest except amazing food, great stores, and interesting people roaming the streets at all hours of the day. This past saturday me and Courtholomew ventured out to melrose and dined at Blu Jam. The menu was amazing, food was delicious and the service was great, but we’re gonna skip all that and fast forward to some photos I took of Courtboard’s outfit for her blog.
